ATE Program

The Alternative to Employment Program (ATE) has kicked off in full swing. Starting at the beginning of the year, CRS transitioned the CI from sheltered workshops to the ATE program.


This program is designed around each individual Resident. The ATE program gives our Residents freedom in deciding what they want to do to be involved in the community. Participating out in the community also provides individuals with exposure to new experiences and opportunities.

Leroy goes to Disney Land!

Warrenton Resident Leroy went on a Disney Land excursion. Leroy got to meet all of his favorite Disney characters and made new friends on his trip.

Lions, Tigers and Bears

Residents from several houses got together for a trip to the Portland Zoo. The residents loved the train ride and the scenery, there were smiles all around. The petting zoo was a big hit, the python and cow got a lot of attention. The long stroll through the park relaxed many people.

Welcome To Coast Rehabilitation Services

Coast Rehabilitation Services is a private non-profit organization that supports more than 120 individuals with developmental disabilities in Clatsop and Multnomah Counties, Oregon, and Pacific County, Washington, USA.

Coast offers a variety of supports and services including inter-dependent living programs, micro enterprises, supported living, vocational, and group home facilities. Coast employs over 300 people with and without developmental disabilities at 25 work locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Coast believes that people with developmental disabilities share equal rights with all citizens. The people supported by Coast share a fundamental need to participate and become a part of the communities in which they live. Coast is ever mindful that the greatest disability of our time is loneliness.

People supported by Coast enjoy a full range of opportunities living, working, and playing in the communities they live. Coast prepares employees and supported people within the organization to embrace their fullest potentials as individuals, community members, and citizens. Coast offers an extensive training and life development program that encourages and sustains our differences and our gifts.
